International Financial Centers


The following is a listing of foreign countries financial centre organisations. It comprises references to the financial supervisory authorities, the national bank, stock exchanges and stock exchange supervisory authorities. It further comprises references to a certain number of international organisations.
In certain countries the supervisory functions of financial intermediaries (banks, asset managers, insurance companies) are assured by one single body (integrated financial market authority). In other countries the tasks are divided among separate organisations. In certain countries the supervisory function is executed either by the national bank or a government agency.
